Work and Lunar Eclipse
Oct. 27th, 2004 06:28 pmI have a lot of work to do this weekend, and I am going to be so busy next week. I will probably find time to update, but it will be a long stretch. My rehearsals go until 8:00 on every night from Monday to Wednesday. Then I have the shows on Thursday and Friday, and I have to leave as soon as it's over without striking the set or anything on Friday night because I'll have to get up early the Saturday morning to take the SAT IIs.
I think the play is going to be a long shot; some people still don't know their lines.
Martin Luther apparently came up with idea for the Reformation while sitting on a toilet. That is a man after my own kind: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/3944549.stm
There is a lunar eclipse tonight at 8:00. Everybody go watch it! There was one at exactly this time last year (or at least the first week of November-- sort of during this same fall break), and I recorded it in the Marauder Journal as one of our first full moons (and it was the perfect way to make one of those "close calls" Remus said they had laughed about in their Marauder days-- Lily walked in on them just as Remus had transformed back, because the moon was no longer full . . . and then she left at the urging of James and the moon waxed again and he changed back (ouch . . . two in one night). So I will be doing something like that again tonight: http://www.blurty.com/users/lostjournals.
I was in a rather bad mood today; I was tired. I was worthless at my violin lesson and I sort of went third-grade style hogging the project with Liz . . . sorry about that . . . but I was so rushed and didn't want her to have to do everything tomorrow . . . so I sort of did the opposite and almost did everything myself.
I really don't want to spend the next four days driving around in a car visiting colleges.
