Oh yeah. Bring me a man who can recite long passages of Shakespeare from memory and can match my verbal SAT *orgasm.*

Lol ^_^

I shouldn't have gone all day to school today, or at least not all the way up through Speech and Debate (which was pointless because I didn't have my Debate thing). I have an article review due for World History tomorrow, and I don't have the energy to write it. I am so sick. My medicine wore off at about 1:00 and I've been downhill ever since.

I need to take some more of that.

At least everyone else was feeling crappy, it seems. Misery loves company.

I don't know what I want to do my Original Oratory on. I really need to get an idea; I don't have much time. You know, since I have to WRITE the thing . . . and memorize it. Gaa . . . I just get the feeling anything I would feel passionate enough to talk about would be too radical or philosophical to work. I don't want to do the wholesome and hokey (and terribly pessimistic) "We've gotten too lazy and selfish and obsessed with sex and consumerism." Oddly, I want to do something optimistic; "you didn't know it, but we're on the right track." Completely not what I usually do, complain. For some reason, I feel speeches should always end up on an uplifting note-- or an inspiring one, at least. Plus some of the topics just seem so petty. I don't know. If I can't find something to inspire me, I'm going to have an awfully boring speech.

I also need to have all of my lines memorized for tomorrow. *Laughs.*

Well, I think I have the first scene about down . . . and I think that's all we're doing tomorrow. I hate being sick.

I hate being sick.

I can't hear my music over Tory's oboe. Oboe Man is here. Tory can hold her oboe note for about 30 seconds. I can't even hold my breath that long.

Huang and I did okay on our project, I guess. I liked Lindsey's and Lauren's. Food is always a plus-- even if it really is just an unidentifiable flavor of Kool-Aid. Yea for them. I approve.

Speaking of food, I got the lunch lady all worried about me when I didn't buy the usual potato. I told her I was sick, and then she suggested I get a slushy. So I did, and it was pretty good.
