Writer's Block: Everything's coming up rabbits

Heh, I already talked about this in my 30-Day Meme. I am a Rabbit-- it's my year!-- specifically, a Fire Rabbit. Of all the Eastern Zodiac signs the rabbit is my favorite animal; in fact, of all the animals period the rabbit is one of my favorites. So I'm quite happy to be one (:

As far as the sign suits me, I am cautious and polite at first but friendly and outgoing once I get to know people; sensitive; compassionate; creative; fairly articulate; not a big risk-taker; noncompetitive and mostly nonconfrontational (I at least prefer to be tactful); a homebody; sensual; and more a giver than a receiver. However, I am too easily made anxious or upset to fit the "unruffled and serene" bit, I easily express my feelings, and I do not consider myself exceptionally lucky. It's a surprisingly strong match, actually-- but of course that is merely happy coincidence. I do not believe in horoscopes as an actual indicator of personality. (I mean, how many gazillions of people born in 1987 are not remotely like me in these ways? And have I talked about how un-Taurus I am lately?).

As far as the animal itself suits me . . . Well, I'd like to think I'm cute and cuddly, and I do enjoy my vegetables.

Edit (6:50 pm): It's Setsubun, but I have a mouse problem and I think throwing beans around my house might only make that worse. So maybe I should throw the mouse poison pellets my landlord gave me . . . they're about the same size and shape of beans. And then I can chant, "ネズミは外、福は内！"*

*Reads: "Mice out, luck/happiness in!" The traditional thing to say while throwing beans on Setsubun is "鬼は外、福は内!" or "Demons out, luck/happiness in!"
