Wow, Family Guy Fail

Wow. It's pretty rare I pull the "That's racist so it's not funny" card (I think I lost the right after my improv troupe parodied Rosa Parks and the bus boycott only to leave practice to the news that Rosa Parks had died that night O.o), but, wow, that was very racist and not funny at all. Maybe it's just because I didn't find it funny that the racism bothers me (the Japanese "The Office" SNL skit amused me and I found it less offensive, so maybe it was simply amusement that made me forgive it), but eek.

I used to really like Family Guy (I still do enjoy the reruns from when I used to watch-- like what would I do without this?), but I haven't seen many new episodes since about sophomore year of college-- and I think I don't regret that now.

Seriously, that's like on-par with the idiocy of WWII propaganda:

All I can think of to save it is that when they said that this is the world that would have resulted if the Japanese had won WWII is that since they are cartoons, that meant the cartoon Japanese of WWII propaganda would have conquered them. (But something tells me that's giving them way too much benefit of the doubt).
