Writer's Block: Birthday Shout-out

The book I was most satisfied with reading was either Order of the Phoenix or Deathly Hallows. Order of the Phoenix expanded the world in a direction I liked, giving us backstory about Sirius's family and Snape's childhood (I like the generation before Harry's the best, lol) and getting me exponentially more excited about the plot and the wizarding world, and Deathly Hallows was just one YES I KNEW THAT WAS COMING! after the other; I wasn't disappointed at all as far as my hopes for the series (and the cameos I wanted :-P) went.
That said, my mother read aloud the first three books to my sister and I (and our cousin was there for the third one), which added a different dimension to the reading experience. I would cuddle up next to her on the bed and illustrate what was happening in comic-like panels as she read; I still have the pictures. So the acts of reading those books were just that much more intimate and memorable.
Also, Happy Birthday to Harry Potter himself, as well as Juliet Capulet (born on Lammas Eve) and my own character Megumi Tanaka.
