So today was pretty good. At any rate, there was an abundance of cookies.

In Japanese, there were the final presentations; I did mine last Thursday (which was an adventure involving running back to my dorm and back again O.o), so all I had to do was sit and watch and ask an occasional question, and take the grammar quiz. However, in her rush to make us orange-chocolate cookies, our professor forgot to make copies of the quiz. WIN. This (almost) makes up for crying in Japanese class all the time last year, lol . . .

Then, as Education observation is over, I had a couple hours to just relax; I had a leisurely, pleasant lunch with Joe and Beth, and then worked a little bit on my story in the computer lab until Topics in Japanese Culture class at 3:00. There, we also had cookies-- hazelnut pirouettes, yum!-- turned in our final papers (mine was the first in which I have ever used Wikipedia as a source and actually documented it as such, not just for double-checking or looking up another more useful source; you see, no one under 30/in academia seems to know anything about postmodern-y things like Gothic Lolita fashion, for instance, lol) and watched a movie, "Woman in the Dunes." It was an interesting film, full of anti-modernness. It also contained perhaps one of the most unpleasant sex scenes I've ever seen, lol (so much sand O.o). Best line: "Do you shovel sand to survive, or survive to shovel sand?"

Now, I just have one more eight-page Education paper to write, my two Japanese exams (oral and written), and my Introduction to Psychological Statistics exam which I don't even really have to take but am going to anyway in case I get a really good grade on it ^_^

Other than that, I have to organize packing my stuff before I go home, and say goodbye to an awful lot of people for nine months )-:

Also-- and this is sketchy-- Suspicious of Whistlers' weird-ass Bathroom Video has apparently gained a following on foreign toilet-fetish sites, like this one. Fun times.
