Classes have begun; I had Japanese II at 10:00 this morning, and I've got Abnormal Psychology at 1:00 and Cognitive Psychology at 2:00 (I'll be all psyched out, ha ha ha . . . yeah . . . ).

The week (well, less than a week, actually . . . ) was blissful freedom-- and a lot of shopping. Lisa's and my setup is awesome-- even though we spend most of our free time in Keith, Henry, and Anu's suite, lol . . .

We went bowling on Sunday (I think, it was?), and I got a 130, which beat Lisa )-: and scared the shit out of Keith, I think ^_^ that's (obviously) the highest score I've ever gotten. Then I promptly turned around and got something like a 96 the next game (but neither Lisa nor Keith did very well that game, either). Anyway-- woot!

Other than that, I've played Guitar Hero, watched Henry and Lisa play the most awesome Japanese game ever (where you roll around a "coagulation"-- katamari-- and pick up the most random objects ever, from swans to bear carvings to egg sushi to Watermelon Boy and Mama-San), watched both Rent (so sad, but so good!) and Memento, and gone on more shopping expeditions than can be counting (thank goodness Lisa has her car! ^_^).

In other news, Bill Nye is coming to speak at WashU in early September! ZOMG! I think I am going to have to steal him as Imaginary Boyfriend from Mom, because she original fell in love with her other (now ex-, because of the 2004 election in which he stole votes from Kerry :-P) Imaginary Boyfriend, Ralph Nadar, when he came to speak when she was in college. Though, now, apparently, he is married to a concert oboist-- so he would be more interested in Tory :-P

I'm sure the place is going to be packed; WashU is just full of awesome people like that :-P

This weekend is both the Japanese and Greek festivals. We're going to go, this year! Woot!
