Soothsayer: Beware the Ides of March.
Caesar: What's the Ides of March?
Soothsayer: The 15th of March.
Caesar (checking his watch): Oh, that's today!
Soothsayer: *STAB.*

Ahh, the Ides of March. Anniversary of one of the greatest betrayals in history. My self-proclaimed birthday of Peter Pettigrew (for my roleplay, you see-- precisely because of the former reason; I'm so clever! Lol . . . ). [livejournal.com profile] hedgemaster's birthday. Two months until my birthday.

Woot.

It's also full moon; I am wearing my Moony shirt.

I went to the dentist today (and I kept thinking of the song in Little Shop of Horrors and the prospect of dentists being 1) sadistic and 2) Brock, both of which are kind of scary, lol . . . ). I have perfect teeth. Yippee, hooray (I hope that stays the case for some quite long time, lol . . . )!

I have a hair appointment at 1:00. I am going to have to cut some substantial inchesness of fried-feeling hair off the bottom, lol . . . it's not going to be a big change, or anything, but I'm going to be quite relieved, lol . . .

Edit (1:47 pm): Ahh! I have no hair!

No, I have plenty of hair-- but I did cut a lot off, about four or five inches, actually. It now actually stays thick at the bottom, lol . . .

Speaking of Shakespeare, as I did above, I heard a weird ad involving someone reciting Romeo's first soliloquy on behalf of Juliet (in the party scene, where they first meet, when he first sees her, etc . . . ) to a Shrimp Scampi. Wow. I want that Shrimp Scampi now. I like Shrimp Scampi, but a Shakespearian Shrimp Scampi . . . lol . . .

I can now play the (well, a-- it may not be exactly right-- and there are several that it intertwines between) the bottom part of "The Piano Duet" from The Corpse Bride. Woot!

I'm fucking scared.

. . . but not enough to have them conquer me, which proves they're wrong, lol . . .

*Shudder* They brought up one of my favorite pet subjects, atomic bombs! Ahh!!!

Why is it I'm inspired to write to this radical, but not write my paper? It's on practically the same thing, lol . . . :-P

Liz came over, and we watched a movie that was sort of crazy but pretty cute-- and then talked for hours. I like seeing people. I am being very social this break and not actually doing a lot of work, like I had planned, lol . . .
