Woot for geekiness!!!
Yesterday was fun. Though it took a while to get there, since every single freaking ROAD was CLOSED, lol, Nichole and Kristina and I went to Olive Garden and then went shopping at the mall. The Orgasms in Cups drinks weren't as good as we remembered them, but, then again, this was at a different Olive Garden, lol . . . I got a FULL Les Miserables soundtrack at the mall, and so now I am so totally ready to complete this awesome musical! Lol . . . seriously, though, EVERYTHING FITS SO INSANELY PERFECTLY!!! I also got Tiffany her present, and Kristina her long-overdue one (she preferred a CD to a Barbie, after all, Tiffany, so you can STOP COMPLAINING, lol . . . ). I weighed myself on one of those weight/lucky number machines, and-- maybe it's just wrong, I mean, it was a weight machine in a MALL-- but it said I'd only gained one pound back since I had gotten sick and lost all that weight. Whoa . . . I'm happy, anyway, lol . . .
I went home for about less than an hour, and then I was over at Tiffany's house for her birthday party. She finished my dress-- and it is awesome! It's a relatively simple design but flattering-- relatively form-fitting, low-cut square-ish collar, fun sleeves (that Tiffany had a heck of a time with, apparently, lol . . . )-- in purple with gold trim. It also has this fun belt! Lol . . . I'm excited.
. . . and *does a little dance* I get to wear it to a Renaissance Fair tomorrow!
That's the second half of Tiffany's party, really, I guess . . . the first was yesterday, watching the Reduced Shakespeare Company on video (woot!), dressing up in our costumes for Sunday and roleplaying, and eating Tiffany's mom's good cheeseburgers, and CORN!!! BWAHAHA!!!
Yes, I had THREE PIECES OF CORN yesterday. Two at Tiffany's house, and one at home, when I drove up afterward. We had guests-- Mom and Dad's friends who were raised in India (and apparently they married inter-caste; they had some romantic story they told them about how he used to watch her through the gates of her high-class private school, and wait for her to be done so they could walk around for a bit together . . . it's so cute!), lived in France for a while, and now live here. They were very interesting to talk to, even though I missed dinner (except for the one piece of corn I had, lol . . . ).
Anyway, fun day, yesterday. As I drove up, I actually agreed with wacko Delilah (*sigh*) when she was all like *sappy* "Did you have a good day today? Does it make you beam from ear to ear? Great! I did, too!"
