HAPPY EASTER!!!

I felt nice sleeping in this morning, even though I really didn't sleep in that much. It was that nice, white, clean, sleeping-in feeling. Will I still get that when I don't sleep in my own bed?

I have chocolate and a huge container of twizzlers now.

We drove the two hours to Chicago to eat brunch in the Chicago Yacht Club with Grama and Winston. They had sushi-- sushi rolls and sashimi! Grama was upset because she wanted her shrimp in shrimp cocktail form, but I liked the ebi type.

Still, it is only a sign of the times that America is eating Japanese culture. You had to eat the sushi with forks; there were no chopsticks.

They did have soy sauce, though.

The rest of the day has been simple post-Easter lethargy, which is just fine for me.

Yet . . . this sucks. I have come to the realization that, though Christmas is observed by colleges, Easter is not. I will not be home for Easter. I LIKE Easter. Easter is a family holiday. I don't want to be disappointed for Easter, either. What am I supposed to do, sit in a dorm room and just find a basket I left for myself? Coloring eggs with my roomates or something wouldn't be so bad, but I like . . . Easterness, you know?
