Had quite a disturbing dream last night.

I was at the musical (again-- this always happens when I stop doing something I really think is a lot of fun), and then I somehow ended up at Miami University (it wasn't really; I just knew it was, the way one always does in dreams such as this), which looked awfully close to what my lake house looks like, lake and all, lol-- with the set from the play sitting in the water. Anyway, the Pope was there (go figure), and some terrorists showed and shot at the set, hitting the Pope, who fell down and died in the water. Quite unnerving. Apparently the shot was so bad that nobody wanted to even touch him afterward, because his leg had completely exploded or something-- and he was quite dead-- but I ended up having to carry him into the forest behind our lake house. This probably goes down as one of the nastiest, most disturbing dreams I have

At any rate, poor Pope. I'm rather fond of him; he's a nice fellow, it seems. Though I do think it's some sort of weird apocalyptic sign that he can't talk with that trachiatomy (however you spell it-- that'd be the German way, apparently, lol) surgery. I mean, isn't the Pope supposed to speak the word of God to the people? If he can't talk . . . isn't that sort of a REALLY big problem?

If I were a certain level of symbolic fanatic, I would say it's proof that modern medicine and surgery is evil because it obscures the link between man and God.

. . . but, luckily, I'm not. So I'll just muse . . .

I don't where any of that dream stemmed from, except maybe the news. They do updates on the Pope and the terror sitation, lol . . .

Anyone else notice that the Terror Alert is ALWAYS elevated on Fox News?

I wonder if we're going to have a bad storm season this year. We had a bad one last year-- but this year is just crazy snow, it seems, lol . . .
