YHO was interesting. We had to stuff Tiffany, Alice, two cellos, a violin, an assortment of bags and purses, and me into my car. It was crazy, but it all worked out well . . . until, however, the back of the trunk flew open (AGAIN!!!) because we had joggled it trying to get Tiffany's cello back there, but it was frozen. So, then, when it was un-frozen, it opened . . . with Tiffany's cello in the back. Luckily, however, we were only just turning onto Greenleaf and managed to get it shut without much traffic (I did wonder, however, before we noticed that it was open, that that lady who drove past us that I smiled at wasn't smiling back).

Toccata and Fugue is such a fun song. I think I get this evil glint in my eye when I play it.

Tory's foam fish on her straw mobile back a great disco ball to "Electric Avenue."

Someone should make Seth play this "Green Hornet" thing on his trumpet. Whoa dude . . .

Now I have to wait for Liz to call or get online or something to see if we can go to Barnes and Noble or Borders (I think I have a gift card for both ^_^) today. I actually have an idea for a book I can read! I read part of it once . . . and I know for sure it's written post-1950, thought it's ABOUT the pre-1950s . . . AND it's one of my favorite pet subjects! Research-- PLUS English class grades! I have a few options, too, if one doesn't work out . . .

My dad made a hilarious comment last night. We were looking at the Swiss money we had brought back from Switzerland, and there's one bill with an artistically exploding head of a man on it . . . it's really weird. Neil, being the pretentious little genius he is, went on about how he read that it was just won in an art contest, and the Swiss wanted people to look at their beautiful money . . . but then Dad goes, "Oh, I'm sure he's not anonymous, I'm sure he's someone famous. It probably says right on there." Then he picked it up and said, "See? Right here, there's his name: Dix Francs."

"Dad, that's French for 'ten francs,'" I replied. He had pronounced it "Dicks Franks."
