Happy New Year! I am back!

Okay, I am going to make this short because it is 3:00 am in my head right now . . . my crazy Swiss-ified head.

Switzerland was awesome; we sledded and I ACTUALLY BEAT TORY DOWN THE HILL IN ONE OF THE RUNS!!! That never happens. This is very sad that I actually have to gloat this much. Bernard and Ingrid are so cool. They liked our scarves ^_^

I read Sense and Sensibility even though it was CRAP because it was the only thing I had to read on the entire trip. I ended up getting into it, though, because the plotline reminded me of something I am very familiar with. Good sign, that one.

The flight home, however, went to Hell in a handbasket. There was a little bit of wind over the North Atlantic, so the people are like, "Ooh, let's take a more northerly route and avoid it." They flew over the freaking NORTH POLE. It take 10 1/2 hours. That's the time it took me to get to JAPAN. If I have to sit on a plane for 10 1/2 hours, 3 1/2 longer than I am supposed to, I demand that I be taken somewhere wonderful like Japan, not just home late at night. So then we got there, late, and waited around for a shuttle bus that never came until we called for it, about a half hour or so later . . . and then we get to our car parking lot, and the battery is dead. So then we pay the bellboy at the hotel we parked it at an exorbitant amount of money to jump it, and then we get home about 10:00 freaking pm. Then we rode home as Neil dry-heaved because he has a Pavlovian response to airplane landings, because he didn't even have anything left to throw up. So I turned on some Linkin Park in hopes that the loudness would cover up the retching. It didn't; in fact, the screaming parts in a lot of their songs sound an awful lot like Neil's retching. So, finally, we made it home. I showered and went to bed . . .

. . . and woke up at 5:00 am because I am jetlagged.

Someone commented on my journal about joining their Javert fanclub. I love Les Miserables, but I have never seen the musical (though I do have the soundtrack and the book is like my freaking favorite novel ever besides Harry Potter)-- but am I fangirl enough for that? Lol . . . I love Javert as an antagonist because he's not EVIL . . . in fact, he's really good, just stubborn.

*Has an epiphany that might come up in a rant later involving George Bush as a Javert-like type*

Eh, what the heck, why not. Though the extent of fanart I would have to post would just be that picture I drew of Marius and Jean Valjean in the sewers that I was so proud of in 10th grade. Nichole and Kristina made fun of me. Then they made fun of my parodies today. You always make fun of me! You're so mean! Lol . . . just kidding. I mean, I DID make a parody to "Smells Like Teen Spirit" to Nirvana. "With my eyes out, I'm still dangerous, in this chamber that is spacious" . . . lol . . .

We have new computers in Computer Applications. They are black and freaky-looking, and they have our names in the login Start button thingy . . .

I heard Numb on The Bear while driving back from library tutoring tonight, and then changed the channel to U93 and it was the remix of it. That was crazy. I also heard Sex and Candy. I like that song now. It grossed me out when it came out in fourth grade.

I have chocolate-- good SWISS chocolate-- like Lupin has never seen before. He is going to get fat . . . but it will be a delicious process.

Aw, I have a new friend! Redxdeath friended me! I feel loved ^_^ or . . . stalked.

Eh, here's to blissful naivety and trust in humanity . . .

You know that thing I said about making that short? Scratch that ^_^
