Happy Thanksgiving
Nov. 25th, 2004 11:00 pmI am thankful for laptops that I can use since the computer is broken.
I am thankful that I didn't feel TOO sick today-- it probably had something to do with sleeping about 12 hours last night.
I am thankful that America was founded during the Enlightment and not during the initial Puritan Calvinist movements that brought the Pilgrims here (our toast this Thanksgiving was "To the Age of Reason!"). Alice brought up the 6 cent-less Thanksgiving dinner, but she was the only other one who bothered to be thankful for anything. Everyone else said silly or obvious stuff, lol; we got the reward for being creative.
I was glad Robert got to come over. We played the E-Bay game, and I won PHENOMENALLY once, and then Alice won the rest, lol . . . Then we watched Chicken Run and played pool and-- sort of-- darts, even though Alice wouldn't, but oh well, lol . . .
Alice and I pretended to be bitter about things we did way back in the day. I hit her with my pool cue when she said Kitty and Susan was the most retarded game ever.
My life is a very hard thing, and all cats fear the war. -My second grade story, in my journal, about a girl in Katland.
Going out with Alice is like being married to Sylvia Plath-- only I'm Edgar Allan Poe -Joey, in reference to his relationship with Alice.
I like quotes.
Some random guy asked me to RP Harry Potter with him via IM (an actual GUY RPing HP . . . you don't see that so often), and we said like two things and then he had to leave, lol.
The world confuses me.
What point is there in spreading computer viruses, I ask you?
I think I took that once before, I just got something else . . . this seems to fit me better, though . . .
Darn virus is preventing me from writing the prank scene in the Marauder journal-- you know, the pivotal part where Sirius sends Snape after Lupin? I guess it will just have to wait until next month, or the month after )-: though by that point, according to our calendar, Sirius will no longer be 16 . . .
I wrote two more parodies right before the computer crashed ^_^
Mrs. Corey gave me HP3 trading cards, but Mom refused to admit that they were all for me (probably because she was embarrassed), and so I had to share them with Neil and Tory, lol. Neil took Hermione. My dad was impressed. Lol . . .
I gave him Aunt Marge. He doesn't need Hermione. That's just wrong.
Speaking of which, I have a present for you, Jessica. I know you're not so found of the Gary Oldman Sirius, but it IS Sirius.
They didn't HAVE Lupin, not even in the background )-:
No Snape, either, come to think of it. Some people got totally gypped.
I want the HP3 DVD. Maybe Mom is saving it for Christmas. I also want the Mulan DVD, so I have it, you know? I can't keep watching the video tape forever-- though the video tape cover is infinitely cooler.
I can play "A Window to the Past" on recorder. It sounds very pretty. I think it may actually be for recorder.

You Are a Liberal for Life |
![]() You've got a bleeding heart - and you're proud of it. For you, liberal means being compassionate, pro-government, and anti-business. You believe in equality for every person, and you consider yourself universally empathetic. Helping others is not just political for you ... it's very personal too. |
