I just got back from working 4 hours (oh, 4 hours and 15 minutes) at NHS. I drank entirely too much punch. I feel old.

In Economics, a few days ago, we had a worksheet about the Nimbus Broom Company. That was freakin' awesome. That was the best time I've had in Economics, ever, lol . . .

We have a test in that class tomorrow. Darn it. I completely didn't do anything about that. I can't wait until Macroeconomics; that's supposed to be better.

I wrote one of my college essays today, the one for the scholarship thingy at Miami of Ohio. They're allowed to be longer, which is helpful, but they have MUCH worse topics. Lindsey can't think of anything to do in one year with unlimited resources to save the world, either. At least I'm not alone. Still . . . this is due November 1st, along with the other one (the one I wrote today-- it said "experience" and I wrote about how exposure to different religions has shaped my spiritual "experience," which is really stretching it, but, dammit, I don't have ONE freakin' set "experience" in which "learning about and with others of a different background" has shaped me. STUPID, STUPID college essay topics. This scholarship is worth $15,000 or something. I am never going to win it, never, never, never, not ever.

I am waayyy too stressed out.

I am doing waayyy too much. College essays, teacher recommendations, guidance counselor recommendations, NHS (I still need to find something to do), watching the political debates (and I still have to get that form signed so I can work the polls that day), Economics class, English class (when we have homework), Orchestra, scales for private lessons, solo piece for private lessons, fall play, speech team, debate team, online roleplays, my novel . . .

I really wish there was a way to type up damn college applications on a computer. Typewriters suck ass and we don't have one and I don't want to have to deal with all that messing up. My handwriting sucks. CONFOUND IT!!! Why can't they just make them into downloadable/savable sheets you can type in the blanks with on your computer? Would it REALLY be that hard???

By the way, this movement of Pomp and Circumstance is really evil sounding. I like it better, but it sure does show the EVIL side of academic life, lol . . . ooh, do we get to play it in YHO next concert? I know we get to play Pomp and Circumstance . . . but, like, the WHOLE THING? That is a LONG song . . .
