Locked Out Of My Room . . . Again
Sep. 26th, 2005 12:10 pmI am locked out of my room so the wonderful Lisa is letting me use her room and her computer. Everyone, go throw e-chocolate to
mona_lisa_73.
Why does Carol NOT show up today after lunch. Oftentimes, she does . . . *Sigh* I really need to get that girl's cellphone number, I do . . .
At least I don't have anything I REALLY NEED in there . . . you know, except for my key. I have all the books and stuff I need for today.
Silly optimist me.
The only problem is, I won't be prepared for Japanese class. You see, you can't be prepared for Japanese class unless you prepare with the CD. Now, you install the CD and the old-fashioned Quicktime it requires to operate on your computer, and then you can only study with your computer. You can't study anywhere else (unless, I guess, if you carried the CD with you, and installed it and old Quicktime on every library or public student lab computer you encountered, which, well, I confess I don't do).
I think, really, I'd rather doors didn't lock. I really don't give a damn if my door's open. I'd rather be able to get in and use my stuff-- even if people *could* break in and steal it . . . but, you see, I doubt they would, and that's a risk I'd be willing to take.
*Goes on blindly trusting in mankind.*
Mencius was a really cool philosopher, by the way . . . he was down with that whole "humanity is inherently good" thing.
les_mis_rating still hasn't stamped me, and
lumos_sorting hasn't even put me up in the community out of the moderator queue yet. Maybe it died.
I finished five Harry Potter song parodies last night. Three to Les Mis, and two which I will not mention for fear of being shot :-P Some of you know. Oh, yes, some of you know . . . because you won't shoot me . . . BWAHAHAHA!
I have nothing to do for the next half-hour. I could read, I guess, but I'm still suffering from the cold that prevents me from retaining anything I read.
