Happy Thanksgiving!
Nov. 22nd, 2007 09:54 pmHappy Thanksgiving!
Tuesday night I was one of the only few who didn't leave; my suite was empty, and everyone I knew on the floor was gone. I went to a brief one-Harold improv practice with Sathya and Rick, and then Rick and I had dinner afterward. Then I hung out in my room, listening to the radio (which I never do anymore, having a computer and an ipod and all that) because it seemed less lonely because it was going on, live. (It was actually quite nostalgic; I forget about a lot of those songs that I didn't hate-- though did I hear one of my all-time least favorite songs during this period O.o-- but don't like love so much that I have gone about procuring). I talked to a few people online, and watched a mid-portion of the "The Virgin Suicides," neither the beginning nor the end (though I'd never seen it before /-:), lol . . .
Now, I do believe I am owed some travel karma do to my hellish flight back to St. Louis last winter, and it did play out a little-- though it wasn't a perfect flight. My first flight (of two, one to Chicago and then one over to South Bend) got delayed, and then cancelled. However, I was one of five people who got put on the next flight to Chicago. I arrived in Chicago just in time to walk straight off the plane and to my next gate, where the second flight was just boarding! So I got lucky ^_^
