I had a dream I got the read the Harry Potter book early. I don't know why . . . but I was reading it all in my dreams last night.
I remember I did something like that when the 3rd or 4th book was coming out . . . I think the fourth . . . but it involved skiiing and baby seals and made no sense . . .
Erm . . . not that this one did, either. The famous first chapter, the one she's been working on for 13 years or whatever, took a nod to the first chapter of the first book, only it was really, well, boring . . . it was odd. I started off reading the actual book, but then, instead, it started being played out before my eyes, like a movie-- but I still knew it was in the book. It was odd. Anyway. The story got better and it was something about Hermione being stalked by some possessed thing which turned out to be the Half-Blood Prince.
. . . um, then I showed up in the story-- at which point I think I realized I had stopped "reading," but was still enjoying the presence of general Harry Potter-ness-- and everyone ended up in Southern Indiana (I know this because I watched the Weather Channel in my dream and it showed the county we were in, which happened to be flooding due to that hurricane coming up in the Southern states, which apparently came even further and hit Indiana). We were at some college campus that was like a messed-up version of Hogwarts (in Indiana . . . ), and then everyone (yes, the trio, myself, and several other familiar, non-Harry Potter people . . . like I think Kristina, Nichole, Tiffany, Jessica and . . . Andrew Rogers? . . . were there) went outside to play rugby on this random hill as people walked past and stared at us. The Half-Blood Prince possessed thing then dropped Hermione and started possessing Andrew.
Lucky for us, I don't have premonitory dreams.
Wow. Yeah . . .
Anyway, it was an interesting night. I wasn't even knocked up on Nyquil, lol . . .
