Harry Potter fans! Guess what two characters these personal ads are written by!

Sensitive female looking for receptive and understanding male who doesn't mind a bit of a potty-mouth. Loves the water; enjoys lakes and tubbing. Low-maintanance but patient and steadfast; will take love even beyond the grave! Very mature but looks so young!

Hot and hardcore witch seeking ambitious male who lusts after power as much as he'll lust after her. Into sado-masochism, nothing less than the Cruciatus. Also dabbles in ageplay (unless you widdle babies are fwightened by that?). Political compatibility preferred but pure blood a MUST.

Moaning Myrtle AND Bellatrix Lestrange.

I just won third and first place for those, respectively, in a contest at Lumos! They were so much fun (I was spazzing to a few of ye non-Lumos! folks about them earlier, I know, lol . . . ). The 2nd place winner was also from Hufflepuff-- wrote a great ad by Aberforth, all about the inappropriate goat-ness, lol ^_^

This is making me so hopeful! I really hope Hufflepuff wins the House cup (okay, yes, that is kind of pathetic-- but, hey, seeing as how I am a Puff, being part of a team and feeling helpful in achieving its goals is fulfilling for me ^_^). The summer is the best time I have to contribute, so I really feel like I am helping to earn it if we win it this term.

So, now, on to the events of the day (and it's Readers' Digest ^_^):

Today I got to go back and babysit two girls I used to in high school quite often. They've grown up so much! Dottie is now four-ish, and Ellie isn't a baby anymore; in fact, she didn't even cry when her mom left. It's nice that Ellie is bigger-- the older they get, the more you can actually get to know them. I am probably going to sit again for them on Thursday night, but I'll also have care of their new baby sister Lexie.

I was babysitting during the day, so it was mostly playtime. We watched Toy Story II (the better of the two Toy Story movies, certainly-- actually quite a cute movie, lol . . . ) and Meet Me in St. Louis, and played outside for a bit. We had lunch (peanut butter and jelly, the quintessential childrens' lunch-- and even I had some! Lol . . . ), and Ellie took a nap. Then we colored and played with the Barbie cards.

The most rewarding part of the day was definitely when, during a brief pause as Dottie was cleaning up her Barbie time-telling cards we had just played with and I was taking advantage of the break to wash the dishes from lunch, Dottie just out of the blue goes, "I like it when you come to play with us. You're my favorite babysitter. I love you, Amy." OMGAWWWWWWWWW . . . I just melt!

I got a high amount of amusement out of "Meet Me in St. Louis." It's not really a very good musical, I don't think-- the songs are good, but the story isn't very profound at all, and doesn't even make that much sense, lol . . .

Yet it amused me for two main reasons. The first is that moral seems to be "There's No Place Like Home," sort of like another rather well-known Judy Garland movie, lol . . . and, also it's a musical about St. Louis, and not-so-subtley implies that St. Louis pwns certain . . . other more commonly musical-centric cities . . . or, perhaps, just one particularly city :-P Keith, I think you should watch it. *Cackles madly.*

After I got back home, Jessica and I got together. We watched Pirates of the Caribbean together to prepare for the sequel movie next week.

Then we cosplayed Wicked. Yeah, how cool are we? Well, I guess, it was more, just like, really, dressing up like the characters and singing, lol . . .

Jessica got on my black Regulus cloak, a black skirt, and the floppy-feeble Wicked hat from our WGE Halloween trick-or-treat thing for the kids, lol, for Elphaba, and then I wore . . . my prom dress, as Glinda. We sang through (practically) all the songs. We even had some great choreography going for "What is This Feeling?" and "Defying Gravity." Whenever I had to be Nessa I would run for the nearest rolling chair, lol . . . I was basically Glinda, Nessa, and Fiyero when she needed me to be; Jessica was Elphaba, Boq, and Fiyero when I needed her to be, lol . . . (we just sort of skipped Madame Morrible and Dr. Dillamond and the Wizard, and both just sang the chorus or skipped it, depending on the counterpoint, lol . . . ). It was fun!

Now I'm online RPing and working on a moodtheme for my Andromeda journal, which is now sponsered. I was kind of considering getting it for this journal, too, but, well, these ads sort of piss me off, lol . . . particularly on this slow-ass computer O.o . . .
