Well, that went oddly.
I just registered for all my classes for next semester. I was a little worried about getting into Cognitive Psychology, because it was slowly getting smaller and smaller every time that I looked. Yet, heh, I made it, and with about ten or so seats to spare! Woot!
Yet . . . I didn't get into Educational Psychology. Luckily, it's not one of the ones required for the major-- I just thought it would be a good background, it filled a good time slot, and it could apply to the potential Psychology minor. There's a waitlist of 18. Diriculous . . .
So, I fixed this by taking Abnormal Psychology O.o Patricia's class of the devil, lol . . . but it could be a different teacher, and, also, since stuff was just generally filled, I'm only taking 14 (well, 15 when I get together our string ensemble for next year; I'm enrolled in Orchestra in general to make it 15 for now). With only 15 credits, I should have the time to devote to it-- and, if all else goes to hell, I can always opt out for pass/fail and just not do the minor :-P
(I mean, shit, even Fiction Writing was filled at that time to replace Educational Psychology! I had very limited options; I was lucky to even have something open! Lol . . . )
Plus, well, I have the whole summer to think about this, and shift stuff around if need be or if I change my mind . . .
I'm still amazed at how utterly immobile my schedule is. There is no room for growth, here. Everything is all at the same times, from when I want them. I started first, of course, with trying to fill it with Japanese-related courses, but there was only one being offered, well, it was at the same time as another one I was taking, and only open to juniors (though the Professor is that awesome Professor I know kind of semi-kind-of-personally, now, so she might have let me in, had I talked to her, but, well, as I need this fake-NS credit, I really just think I'll sit back in this one, lol . . . ). I then tried plugging in everything, from International/Area Studies things to Business School accounting courses to . . . random shit I don't even need. Lol . . . Grr!!!
I don't get my Friday-off-after-one-class thing, anymore, but, *sigh,* oh well . . . in fact, I have the exact same schedule I have now, only with a half-hour gap from 2:30 to 3:00 on Tuesdays/Thursdays that I had last semester, too. So random . . .
Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays:
10:00-11:00 Japanese II
1:00-2:00 Abnormal Psychology
2:00-3:00 Cognitive Psychology
Tuesdays/Thursdays:
10:00-11:00 Japanese II
1:00-2:30 The Classical Voice in Japanese Literature
3:00-4:00 Japanese Subsection
In other news, our show went awesomely well last night. The last jam was a little confusing (Iwas dragged came out only once, and was promptly shot, lol . . . ), but, eh . . .
I still haven't seen all the videos from Prank Week . . . I haven't seen the Ninja-attacking-the-classrooms medley, yet-- but I have heard it, and how it cuts out with the music just as you hear Danny: "Not today, Ninja!" *Falls,* lol . . .
The kidnapping sequence was awesome, though. I loved the comments put in:
12:30 Mallinkrodt.
250 people.
Not a single one of them did a damn thing.
Hell, it took WUPD 30 minutes to respond.
By then, we'd have been in Illinois.
. . . with a dead girl in our trunk.
So, just remember:
We're watching you.
. . . especially while you sleep.
*Shot of scary mask-faces.*
Highlights from the actual Improv show itself were Zach creating a brain-eating zombie in his bedroom, chanting and then interspersing it with "Yes, mom!" in a high voice as she called into his room, while the zombie (Rick) twitched as he poked his weenus, lol-- and then Zach and the zombie "running downstairs." There were pot-smoking zombies, a love triangle involving zombies, a male mailman (in the love triangle), and a neurotic character I played that was a little too close to me for comfort, lol . . .
The older group had a very incestuous scene, lol . . . that amused me, too . . .
The crowd was amazing, though; I remember we all looked there at the beginning and were like like "HOLY SHIT, YES!!!" Sooooooo many people. Awesomeness ^_^ thanks to everybody that came! I love you all (and not just because you came to my show, of course, but that does help :-P)!
PS: Keith, check your voicemail. I swear, he's not drunk . . . which probably just makes that even creepier . . .
