My School System Fails At Life-- Or Maybe Just Bush Does, But We Knew That Already
Every single one of the Elkhart Community School system's schools failed the No Child Left Behind Standards.
So, does this mean I am actually really dumb, because I received As from a failed school system and therefore never actually really learned something . . . ?
. . . or really, really smart, since I made all As my first semester at the 11th best school in the country in spite of having come from a failed school system?
Yeah, fluid intelligence!
I am going to die when I take a math course.
. . . or else maybe I just never learned English (ha ha, or like poor Adriana Ponciano who was born here, speaks no Spanish-- she took it as a class in high school!-- and was yet placed in ESL because she had a Spanish-sounding last name . . . O.o . . . ). I mean, those standards are pretty f*cked up. It's not our fault most of the school system still doesn't speak English, and that's what they're basing that off of, and not funding us, grr . . .
