I still have my Japanese final tomorrow, and, if I were crazy-- as it seems most of the school is, I don't understand how anyone can study for 12 hours of the day straight, even if they do have Calc and Chem finals all on the same day or something-- I would have been studying for it, instead, but I went to the practice room and played the Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis music. It was orgasmic. It's so much better to be actually in the music, rather than just listening to it. I had sounded out the solo, perfectly. Now all I need to do is figure out the cello/viola harmony part for the beauty of it ^_^

Keith came in and watched me stalkerishly through the practice room window (it's basically a little glass box in the multi-purpose room, lol . . . ) until I noticed (eating Sun Chips, lol . . . ), and then we both just sort of played around with the piano and my violin for like-- an hour and half. I played random stuff from my vast amassment of saved (and stolen O.o) old Orchestra music, and he figured out the basic theme from Victor's Solo/Duet from The Corpse Bride, and I taught him Carol of the Bells (which lead right into Palladio, the diamond-ad song, lol . . . ). It was a lot of fun ^_^

Then, I came back upstairs, and Michellanne wanted to go sign up to get a free massage with me. We're going back at 6:30, right before I have dinner with the Cuilles, the Faculty Family (with their one-year-old daughter who has the same birthday as my mom ^_^), at 7:00. Anyway-- Lisa and Patricia had to pull me aside earlier, because they had my Christmas present! It's a DVD of Les Miserables, the in-concert version which has all the songs and song action, since I don't think there is an actual straight-up recording of a show . . . that's like illegal, or something, lol . . .

(I can't wait until they come out with an actual movie, that isn't that silly non-singing-oh-whoops-we-forgot-Eponine movie with Liam Neeson, Geoffrey Rush, Uma Thurman and Claire Danes).

Anyway, today is turning out to be really, really good ^_^
